I am totally studying/homeworking

I got a pocket moleskine for Christmas and I love it and all but... it's so cute and perfect and smells nice that I just get scared to do stuff in it that sometimes it just lays there looking all fancy and shit.

I do draw in it, just nothing complete. And this infuriates me. I'm trying to avoid drawing on loose paper so I don't end up with a giant disorganized pile of junk, so I thought I'd draw in one of my other sketch books. It's a bit larger, though the paper is nice and since it's cheap that somehow makes me feel less guilty to experiment with markers and watercolors, (and finding out that markers bleed through moleskines kinda made me super sad fdgfds)

The moleskine gets more personal as I draw in it and my other book more share friendly. So yay I figured something out with my drawing routine I guess?

Also here's a list of the stuff I can bring to Navy Basic training:
  •  Wrist watch, wedding ring.
  •  Religious medallion (No larger than the size of a dog tag).
  •  Writing material (NO bottled ink).
  •  Pocket dictionary.
  •  Pocket bible.
  •  Small address book.
  •  Hairbrush and comb.
  •  Pre-paid phone cards.
  •  One pair of prescription glasses, reading glasses or contacts.
  •  A small amount of cash (i.e. less than $10).

No sketchbook, but I'm hoping I can try to draw in that address book. I do hope there's no punishment for doodling. And maybe I could get a pocket sized copy of the Tao Te Ching as a religious text? Hmm yess it's all coming together. Muahaha.

Girls get to bring other things though.
  •  Feminine sanitary items.
  • Conservative cosmetics. Female/one of each: face powder, blush, lipstick, eye shadow and mascara (non-aerosol or glass). Make-up will be authorized for division photos and graduation weekend only.
  •  Barrettes (Female/must match hair color).
  •  Birth control medications.

Everything else needed is provided to us. (Soap, toothbrush, etc.)

yup yup that's about it.

I will never stop sharing this. DEAL WITH IT.
